Biography
Dr. Fawaz A. Saad is an associate professor at Umm Al-Qura University. He is a co-founder of a number of start-up companies. He is a co-founder of Wadi Makkah Techno Valley. He worked as a dean of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and was a General Supervisor of the Office of Intellectual Property Management and Bin Laden Chair for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He was appointed as an advisor in Makkah governor office and used to be the general supervisor of the Okaz Future Project in Souq Okaz. He has a patent from the US Patent Office USPTO. Fawaz provides his consulting services through Ties.sa. He’s been actively participating locally and globally in Innovation, Entrepreneurship since 2010. He is an advisor for the famous SharkTank Arabia. In 2016, he was awarded the British Council Entrepreneurship Award as one of the most prominent graduates of British Education. Recently, his startup Tawseel was chosen to be one of the Top 15 startups amongst 21,000 technology startups in startup Istanbul 2017.
